Action Alert - Greek Fire Relief Care Boxes
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The deadline for mailing care packages to AHEPA Headquarters has passed. Thank you to everyone who helped make this effort a tremendous success. If you did not make the deadline, and would still like to help the fire victims in Greece, please contribute directly to the AHEPA Emergency Greek Fire Relief Fund. And, again, thank you for your overwhelming generosity!  Care Package Checklist We are asking each chapter to make a minimum of four (4) boxes consisting of the following items: - Pillows
- Blankets
- Sleeping Bags
- Towels
- Hand Soap (bars, not liquid)
- Baby Diapers
- Sanitary Pads
- Toothbrushes
- Children’s Clothing
- Men's and Women's socks
- Men’s and Women’s underwear
- Men's & Women's Shoes – various sizes
Furthermore, we ask that all items collected are properly packaged and boxed for transport before sending them to AHEPA Headquarters. Please do not send any liquids or canned foods. Upon receipt, we will be sending the care packages directly to Greece, through the generous help of Olympic Airlines. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us directly. |
