AHEPA Expresses Sorrow over Wildfires in Southern California

Ike Gulas, international president of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), the leading association for the nation’s 1.3 million Americans of Hellenic heritage, and Philhellenes, issued the following statement about the wildfires in Southern California:

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who are affected by this horrific and devastating catastrophe. Through our chapters in Southern California, we are making inquiries as to how we can send them immediate assistance or supplies. We are hopeful that the heroic men and women fighting this blaze will have it contained and extinguished soon.”
