The Daughters of Penelope is the women's affiliate organization of the AHEPA Family with headquarters in Washington, D.C. It was founded in 1929, in San Francisco.
Today, the Daughters of Penelope is a leader in philanthropic, educational and cultural activities with local chapters in the United States, Canada and Greece.

Grand President Christine K. Constantine's Bio - Daughters of Penelope Career
- 1971 - Initiated into the Daughters of Penelope, Zeus Chapter #38, District 14, Des Moines, Iowa. Active at the chapter level and was District Secretary.
- 1985 - Moved to Chicago, Illinois and reinstated membership in Zoe Chapter #311, District 13, Glenview, Illinois. At the chapter level Christine was Corresponding Secretary and then President.
Christine was elected to the 13th District Lodge as follows:
- 1997-99 Treasurer
- 1999-00 Secretary
- 2000-01 Lt. Governor
- 2001-03 District Governor (2 terms)
- 2003-05 District Advisor
While serving on the District Lodge, Christine also was asked to chair various positions at the National level including:
- 1997-02 Treasurer, Daughters of Penelope Foundation, Inc.
- 1997-98 Budget and Finance Co-Chairman
- 1996-97, 1999-00, 2002-03, and 2004-05 - Budget and Finance Chairman
- 2003-2004 Grievance Committee Chairman
Christine was elected to the Grand Lodge as Grand Governor Zone III at the Boston, MA convention in 2005 and was nominated by the late Honorable Adeline Geo-Karis, and has served each consecutive year as GGIII, Grand Treasurer, Grand Secretary and Grand Vice President.
Professionally, Christine is a part-time manufacturers' sales representative in the hospitality/contract furniture market. She calls on architects and designers and end users who specify furnishings, Merchandise Mart, Chicago, IL. Also, Christine is an accountant's assistant and assists in preparing taxes and other related functions.
Christine is a graduate of AIB College of Business, Des Moines, Iowa.
