AHEPA Supports ThanksUSA

Dear Brothers, Family and Friends of AHEPA
Our liberties come with a heavy price. America's servicemen and women volunteer to serve our Nation and find themselves on the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan. As a result of this dedication of their careers and lives to our great Nation, the loved ones left at home become, in a way, our families and our children too.
ThanksUSA is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization that mobilizes Americans of all ages to provide tangible thanks to the men and women serving our country and defending our freedoms through need-based educational scholarships to the dependents and spouses of active-duty U.S. military personnel, with special emphasis given to those who lost a loved one in service to America.
AHEPA is proud to announce that we have chosen ThanksUSA to be our national service project for 2011. Please help us support our military families. We ask you to contact your local AHEPA chapter or to contact our national headquarters (202) 232-6300 to find out how you can make a difference this year in the lives and futures of the families of our brave soldiers overseas.
Chapters, as well as individual members and supporters, are encouraged to bundle checks (made out to "ThanksUSA") and mail them to AHEPA Headquarters to be counted and delivered as part of our national campaign.
I invite you to view the short video clip below to learn more about the outstanding work of ThanksUSA. Thank you.
Fraternally,

Nicholas A. Karacostas, Supreme President
