Administrative Notes from the Executive Director
New Deadline for 2007 Dues is this Monday, January 31st !
Dues are the lifeblood of any organization. It should not be viewed as a burden or something to neglect. It should be viewed as a conduit to what AHEPA stands for. Our forefathers knew that an organization like ours would sustain and perpetuate Hellenism in America and extol the greatest elements of being both Greek and American. There are plenty of critics, but there are even more, like you, that love the AHEPA as it was a part of your being.
The Supreme Lodge decided that due to certain circumstances, a reprieve of our December deadline would be in order. In the light of that wisdom, I have been asked by our Supreme President to reiterate the need for all our members, both active and inactive, to pay their 2007 dues before the new January 31 deadline.
This plea is not to collect monies to pay bills, it is a request to all Hellenes who care -- those who feel the same fire our fathers and grandfathers brought with them as immigrants to America - to continue the traditions of family and belonging to the following generation. Please take the time to send in your dues and ask your friends to become members of an AHEPA, which will continue for our sons and daughters for another 85 years.
Fraternally,

Basil Mossaidis, Executive Director
