This Week For Greeks! - Vol.2 Issue 27 - Monday, September 08, 2008
A Message from the Supreme President
Brothers, Sisters and Friends:
The Supreme Lodge looks forward to welcoming our District Governors to Washington this weekend. We anticipate a great turnout as we plan and prepare for our upcoming administrative year. As we enter the homestretch of 2008 our focus will be to increase our membership. We look to build upon the successful programs we offer the community in youth education/scholarships, housing, athletics, and civics, among countless others, to inspire individuals to join at the local or national level. AHEPA is the vehicle for anyone looking to become more engaged in community service. In addition, we look forward to a weekend of fellowship as we host an Open House at our Headquarters and travel to Baltimore to take-in an Orioles game.
September and October will bring a plethora of Greek festivals across the country. Such community activities present a wonderful opportunity to organize a voter registration drive. Please visit www.ahepa.org/vote to download the necessary materials for a voter registration drive. Also, soon we will offer a public service announcement for placement in your community halls or for insertion in various publications that encourages voter registration.
Fraternally,

Ike Gulas, Supreme President
