This Week For Greeks! - Vol.3 Issue 14 - Wednesday, April 22, 2009
A Message from the Supreme President
Brothers, Sisters and Friends:
Xristos Anesti! I hope everyone had a wonderful and glorious Pascha shared with family and friends.
San Francisco is shaping up to be a "can't miss" Supreme Convention. We have an exciting Master of Ceremonies for our 87th Grand Banquet. I'm pleased to announce that Actor Michael Pappajohn, who has had roles in Spiderman and The Longest Yard, will do the honors of being our Emcee. There are great registration packages available to AHEPA family members and guests. Please visit our Web site to register and www.ahepatravel.com to plan your travel arrangements.
Also don't forget AHEPA Sunday is May 17. This will be an exciting weekend as we will join with other Greek American organizations in hosting a farewell dinner on Friday, May 15 for His Excellency Alexandros Mallias, ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the U.S., who will be leaving his post next month. In addition, please take advantage of this weekend to recruit new members to AHEPA. Sponsor a coffee hour, host a seminar, or participate in a community service activity. And to spread good cheer during the weekend, our Facebook-driven "Hug a Greek Day" is Saturday, May 16.
Remember that all of these exciting and creative events are part of AHEPA's ongoing efforts to educate the community to our important mission and to encourage the growth of our membership. If you have yet to become a member, please join AHEPA today!
Fraternally,

Ike Gulas, Supreme President
